Business

Since 1995 I have been fortunate to have worked with many professionals from a broad range of industries who are intent on improving their English skills, some towards general improvement and others with the goal of certificate preparation.

I have experience working with groups up to ten students as well as private instruction. In each case I make every effort to educate myself about the student’s company and area of business in order to provide effective lessons tailored to the participant’s needs.

Conversation

Many of my students wish to improve their conversational and travel English skills. For them I am always prepared to create topic specific role-plays or to research subjects of particular interest that range from current events to history to whatever track the student wishes his course to take.

I am flexible and conversant in a wide range of subjects, well travelled, as well as curious and interested in people, all of which are advantages to my students.

Examinations

Among my thousands of teaching hours are hundreds dedicated to preparing students for a wide variety of exams.

I enjoy instructing those with fixed goals and lend my experience to assist them in their efforts to achieve. I have prepared students for the following exams: TOEFL, GMAT, PET, FCE, CPE, BEC Preliminary, Vantage, and Higher.

Young Learners

Of all the accomplishments one can reach, the one that stands far above the rest is to have a positive influence on the life of a child.

I consider myself fortunate to have had the honor to teach many children and young adults. I have experience teaching English as a second language to children as young as four years of age. In addition, I have tutored young adults striving to perform at their best in both Swiss public and private schools.

I have been affiliated with Berlitz, Kids 2 Skool, Tandem Preschool, The Learning Center, as well as administering my own classes and students.
